Welcome to Panoramic Ireland. This is me, I'm Darren, an Irish photographer passionate about sharing the breathtaking beauty of Ireland with visitors from around the world.
My Story
For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of guiding photographers and travellers through Ireland's most spectacular landscapes. What began as architectural photography across Ireland evolved into something much more meaningful – combining my love for this country with my passion for teaching photography.
My journey started with a BSc Honours degree in Geography and work in Irish archaeology, giving me deep knowledge of Ireland's landscapes and hidden treasures. When I moved into professional photography in the mid-2000s, I discovered my true calling: creating unique photo tours and workshops that blend technical skills with authentic Irish experiences.
In 2019, I faced a personal challenge when diagnosed with cancer. Having recovered fully, this experience only strengthened my appreciation for Ireland's beauty and my commitment to sharing it with others.

Beyond Landscapes
While Ireland's scenery captivates me daily, I also love capturing the energy of live music. I've photographed festivals like Electric Picnic since 2014 and countless bands including Judas Priest, Anthrax, Marillion, Duran Duran and Ghost as well as solo artists such as Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Florence + The Machine to name but a few – experiences that keep my creative passion alive.
